Is Obama's win a BAD thing for the Left?

The Left has built a house of cards for two generations depicting the United States as the world's most oppressive, fascist, racist state. From Hollywood to universities, the Left's religion sees the US as the devil, or Great Satan, in which all bad things come. Defiling the United States in the face of logic has always been one of the more "religious-like" aspects of Left Wing rhetoric. The realities that the US is light years ahead of other nations in regards to race relations is self evident, yet the Left Wing media could easily dupe the mes worldwide into believing otherwise. Now, however, with a black American elected into the White House, this peculiar image of the racist US has to come crashing down. Propaganda to the contrary cannot alter the power of a US president being black. How will the Left Wing deal with this dilemma? Will they find a way to side step yet again another obvious fact that the US is not as racist as depicted in sociology cl and the BBC, or will it find some other way to vilify the "Great Satan"? How do you think the Left will try to keep it's fragile house of cards from falling down?
