Why is Basilisk sooo underrated and horrible ninja shows like Naruto overrated?

First of all Basilisk isn't really shown because its tom "mature" for American T.V. with the gore and . Second Naruto went to other countries becuase of its high popularity in Japan. And third the only reason Naruto wears orange because the creator used it so that it would stand out in store shelves
