Catholics: Was Mother Teresa eventually canonised as a Saint?

One of the greatest of humanity's heroes I believe, to have formed a foundation to bring people off the streets of India to find dignity in death for the homeless and dying, to feed the starving and to cloth the naked. Unless we have been to india or seen similar conditions, it is very hard to imagine the work needed. I once made a ping comment about her, and was told off by a Buddhist ( not even Christian! ) that if I want to joke or criticise her work, i should first roll up my sleeves and go hands on first before being a backseat driver... I totally shut up coz it was so true. sigh..**shame**
