Need list of imp steps to take when having house appraised to sell to the company you will work for.?

I do ERC or relocation appraisals all the time. Make sure you paint in a neutral color. We have to deduct for bold or outdated color choices. Wash the windows, shampoo the carpets, clean the garage floor and trim the landscaping. This is not a typical appraisal. It has to do with not only market value, but marketing as well. 90 days on the market is what most shoot for.Try to minimize clutter, especially if they will be showing it while you are still there. If there are any pet odors, make sure they are removed.Good luck and be prepared to get a little less than typical market value.BTW, they will probably send 2 different appraisers to make sure the value is accurate. If the 2 appraisers are far apart on value, they will send a 3rd.
