Theres a problem with my computer!! Everytime i connect to the internet pop-ups advertising casinos appear....

this happens even before i get a chance to open the internet browser!! Also, my homepage automatically set itself to www.freewebportal.net. Somebody please help!! How do i eradicate this problem??
