Dole versus immigrants?

Over the past few weeks, and more so since the recession has hit Ireland, I find alot of people bashing immigrants "for taking our jobs", when in reality it was some Irish people were too posh for the like's of McDonalds and Centra. Everybody seems quick to blame "the foreigners" for bleeding the system yet, people are quick to forget, the dole was being used by mostly Irish beforehand, who were well able bodied to work, but were to darn lazy. I personally know of alot of well abled bodied people, drawing social welfare for years, yet working on the sly, and these are the same feckers that are quick to point their finger. One would have to ponder and question, are we as racist/predjudice as other countries make us out to be?
