For New Yorkers: looking for a sould food restaurant with live music?

I want to take my parents in law to eat soul food in Harlem (NYC) with live music. Does anybody know I good place to go? I could also take them to Sylvia's and then go to a jazz bar around the area... any information would be much appreciated. thanks
