What is your opinion of the Honda Fit?

I am thinking about getting one but I want to research thoroughly before I make a decision. If you have any other suggestions for a hatchback car I would love to hear them. The car I am looking for needs to be under $20,000 and be able to carry a pretty good amount of stuff. It's okay if it isn't a hatchback if it has a lot of carrying space. AWD would be nice but remember the price range. I want a reliable car. Please help me find the prefect car!
